Legend is a story about mythical or supernatural beings or events. Legend in Filipino is ALAMAT. Some legends seem to be true and some others for fictional purposes only - such as the stories in the Philippines: Ang Alamat ng Pinya; Ang Alamat ng Kawayan; Ang Alamat ng Mindanao and so many others.
